On Tuesday 9^th March, the whole school took part in an Ethos afternoon focused on one of our federation values, ‘Achieve’. We began by reading the story, The Dot by Peter H Reynolds all about a little girl in an art class. She doesn’t think she can achieve but her teacher believes in her. 

Each class then created some artwork based on the idea of achieving and also linked to ‘The Dot’ with some classes learning about pointillism and others using different media to see where the dot would take them. 

It was a great opportunity to reflect on our value, ‘Achieve’ and learn how we can all achieve things if we persevere and believe in ourselves.
