Our day began with some of our lovely parents coming into school to help the children make their Christmas hats which they will be wearing at our Christmas Lunch today. The cutting and sticking was accompanied by Christmas music, a lot of laughter and dancing children ........ and reindeers!
The morning has continued with all of the children making their 'Christingles' for our 'Christingle Service' which will be held at St Andrew's Church later this afternoon. Assisted by Mrs Young and Miss Rich, the children have carefully prepared an orange each using red ribbon, cocktail sticks, sweets and 'Glo-candles', resulting in an array of wonderful 'Christingles'.
At the same time as our 'Christingle' groups have been creating, the remainder of the children have been practising their Christimas songs for our Nativity performances which are due to take place during the last week of term.
We are all really looking forward to more Christmas activities next week which include our Christmas Craft Day and our Christmas Fayre.
