Visit to Buckland Abbey - Thursday 12th March 2020

Egrets had a brilliant trip to Buckland Abbey. We had two different activities, a tour and then a costume activity where they got to dress up like Tudors. They developed their learning about the famous explorer Sir Francis Drake and imagined what it would have been like living there.

On the 27th February, Mrs May, Physio Therapist, visited Egrets Class. The children learnt all about bones, muscles and how they help us.

We also had a feast of bread and grapes at the Lord's Table at the back of the church and learnt about why Christians have communion.

Egrets' Harvest Service

Egrets' Harvest Service 1
Egrets performed 4 different Harvest hymns for the rest of the school and parents and sang beautifully. Each child had a line to read about why Harvest is an important time of the year and they were all amazing. Well done Egrets!
