Welcome to the Church section!
Aveton Gifford School is a Church of England (Voluntary Controlled) Primary School. This means that our school land and buildings are owned by the Church, and the Church appoints two of our governors. Our Foundation Governors are: Rev Neil Barker (Rector of St Andrew's Church) and Michael Tagent (Diocesan Reader).
This section contains articles about our church school, which have been published in 'The Magnet' (our parish magazine) and also some examples of the children's RE work.

The staff and children of Aveton Gifford Primary School were invited to a special service at St Andrew's Church to celebrate 'Education Sunday'.
Our children made Christingles with members of the congregation at St Andrew's Church; they were used during the Christingle Service.
